Hi there! I’m Annalise – proud mom, passionate baker, and the creator of Sweet B’s Bake Shop here in Lincolnshire, IL.
When my son was born in May 2020, everything changed. Watching him grow so quickly reminded me just how fleeting life is – and how important it is to spend it doing what you truly love. That realization sparked something in me.
By February 2021, I took a leap of faith and left my corporate job to follow a dream that had been in my heart for as long as I can remember – sharing my love of baking with others. What started with hot cocoa bombs soon grew into cake pops, and now I’m thrilled to be creating custom cakes and cupcakes for birthdays, weddings, baby showers, and everything in between.
In Fall 2025 I had the opportunity to start teaching cupcake decorating classes at the Joyful Gournmet in Libertyville, IL and I've been blessed with the interest and excitement the local community has shown.
At Sweet B’s, every dessert is made with care, creativity, and a whole lot of heart. I believe in celebrating the sweet moments – big or small – and making them just a little bit more special with something delicious. Because life is short… so why not make it sweet?

In each class, you’ll practice buttercream piping, borders, and simple designs step‑by‑step, then leave with your own beautifully decorated treats and the confidence to recreate them at home.
Private classes are perfect for individuals, families, or small groups who want focused instruction, flexible scheduling, and a project tailored to their skill level and celebration.
